1Spot trouble...

When I connect the pedals to the adaptor, it seems to create loud hissing and humming sounds from the amplifer even when I am not playing the guitar, but however, it seems that if I run my pedals on batteries, there seem to be minimal hiss and hum, is there a problem with the adaptor or wat should I do? Thanks. :D

ur amp not grounded i presume? had this problem b4 too.. after grounding the amp, everthing was good..

it depends on the design of the amp - i think mikemann mentioned this somewhere in the Changing 2-pin to 3-pin sticky before. read that one too.

go through the debugging link first then post back if you have problems.

I'd just ground it, whether it hisses or not.

I like to know that it's grounded.

yea man, ground the amp. gd thing to do. btw, if you've got more than one tonecore pedal then it could be the cause too.

LOL, I think i will have to transport my Cube 30 to my father's workplace before I can do grounding. :P Because I cannot detach the wire from the back of the amp!!! ARGH!!

You can do it with a knife/scissors and a screwdriver. Still, the hum might be coming from somewhere else too, try what I said in my earlier post.
