Your Pets...

interesting thread..
I used to have a stray kitten>cat which some dumb chick I liked last time (that makes me dumb also I guess) picked up from simpang bedok and just threw it at me to take care of it then didn't want to be responsible for all food/medical expenses and even said that I was heartless when I said "then I should put it back where you picked it up" .. so... what the... f.?

in the end I still released it in an area where there's 30+ cats and "Catwoman" will take care of it.

and it's true, they're great companions, but I'm glad I didn't go on keep it cos it started using my Peavey 5150 Combo as a scratch post. tore my popfilter apart too. and my wife's terrified of cats. I'd have to let her go still.

Anyway her name's Neko.
the bedroom studio cat. (2005) and I do miss her a little heheh.

the last photo is about the time when it was first passed to me. she loves her "lion" doll.

...and my neighbour's dog urinated on my shoeshelf two days in a row.
Tried to wash with dettol yet the smell still lingers.

Not that I hate dogs but owners must be responsible . 3 out of my 5 neighbours have small toy dogs and none are leased hwne they are brought out for their walk.

Morever , I'm a muslim and two small kids so it kinda make things stickier...health issues lah. Morever in newer HDB flat, the corridor is not that wide.

Been keeping my cool..but..hmm... Hey, one of my neighbour's dog look a lot like edder's. A Maltese, rite ?

tear stain prevention most of the time is due to owners neglect amongst other things.

1. clean every single day and wipe/blow dry
2. use a whitening powder, chemically called boric acid. available only at some groomers.
3. use products such as eye envy, blah blah blah but we're lucky that we didn't have to go there.
4. diet of the dog, some food may cause the stains to be very brown.
5. www.google.com hahahaha....

white dogs damn hard to maintain but my other half does such a great job. :D

edder i love ur dog...so darn cute.

got a maltese pup myself...(ur other doggie)...but he suffers from pretty bad tear staining.

bro edder, true, it's not easy to be dedicated enough to do all that everyday. I started out with Eye Envy and still it didn't help, cos my maltese pup's tear glands are just way too active.

Went on to use powder as well, but I could only apply it once a day, and it wasn't good enough.

Now starting to use Shiny syrup, though I'm inclined to stop using it eventually...heard it aint good for my boy.

bro kennethC bro, it could also be (this one is damn sway but we can only blame it on irresponsible breeders who just anyhow breed) that your maltese is born without tear ducts aka tears drainage system.

white dogs are esp prone to skin problems and tear stains.

bro edder, I heard abt that possibility as well. Read stuff on doggiesite forums on conflicting viewpoints abt the ducts tho. Apparently some vets sugg operating for the "ductless" condition. I wouldn't want to risk my lil darling's health/life in the hope for cosmetic perfection.

will keep trying for my lil elliot. he's a darling anyhow! Will post a pic when I get a good camera. =)

Sea monkeys are a pain in the a hole. LOL.

Gf bought to see how they were but they kept dying even though I tried everything to make them stay alive. In the end she bought a hamster, a siberian one not those small itsy act cute dwarf hamsters. Grown into a fatass mini-guinea pig. :D

sea monkeys if i can remember correctly are just another species of shrimp.

get a hot blooded furry mammal, they just warms the heart better.
