No..not competition..not to see who more brutal..but im sure each of them hav their own style of play..there is more to extreme drumming den just relentless brutality..ther's also the groove and different influences in them.Anyway, wats all this abt being able to cover Origin, Necrophagist blah blah blah!!!??!!!U singaporean dickheads keep on thinking abt covers and dun even have the interest to noe more abt local band's original music..They r good too u noe...in their own way..and stop comparing to the Ang Mohs!!!Appreciate wat the bands here are doin!!

hey no offence bro...Just saying dat majority of singaporeans have covers-kinda thinking..Yes im a singaporean..We have gd bands down here..some came and left, while some stayed on..Its a shame many come to gigs to listen to wat the bands are gonna cover instead of checking wat the band's own style of music is..Keep the fingers cross..some dudes out there are improving and starting to buy local releases of any form..Dats gd..but there's still a minority who keep on judging a band thru covers...And i guess they shud stop askin pple to cover this or dat by ang-moh bands and claiming to be the ultimate fan of dat particular band..Most kids prefer to DOWNLOAD their music and start bragging abt bands..Cheap thrills..Of course im in no position to tell pple wat to do..Just encouraging..hopefully they'll mature and begin to accept the band's own musical style..All the best!!!Just an opinion yeah...dun have to agree also! :lol:

local bands should play more origs instead of covers!!!!!! we should show the world that we're as good as them. i bet local bands can make smth as good as behemoth, dragon force(having influences fro these bands are cool) and so on wihtout copying their entire style. if you know what im trying to say. i've seen such bands around. examples would be absence of the sacred, arbitrary elemnt, rudra and blablabla.

when you perform , you're trying to sell your band
not sell the bands of which you've covered their song/songs
hopefully the coming gigs would be more of a showcase of local music
not a showcase of local acts covering overseas bands.
