Dragon force is extreme, extremely gay. its just my opinion. dont have to agree with me. dragon force is like kadir. very gay!!! Anyway i'd like to hear extreme originals instead of covers. I'm pretty sure local bands can play smth better than dragon force. doesnt have to be technicle and fast or what ever. as long as u feel the aggression, thats extreme. Beastial hailz to all the bands playing for this gig. great lineup

Plus, DF their blast beats and brutality is just as good as any other extreme metal band....just as brutal....Dave Mackintosh was after all from an extremely brutal band known as Bal-Sagoth!! just that the vocals are not so hard on the ears.

Yeah I agree that DRAGON FORCE is an outstanding metal band.

Not every band can play like them.

Not sure if EMBATTLED can cover DRAGON FORCE. Will try to convince them nonetheless.

Revolution deathsquad is an albeit a challenging one to attempt too, with many ryhtm and beat changes a la dream theatre on steriods.

not to mention the crazy malmteem like appergios on steriods.

bam, i think wad you said is very subjectve. i've just heard both the bands you just mentioned and i don't think they are in anyway superior to Dragonforce where technicality is concerned. My friends have also said bands similar to the ones you mentioned like Necrophagist can beat them.however i think even Dream Theatre can beat those bands you mentioned. perhaps you would like to define technicality?

i see technicality as a whole. The entire band, not just the speed of drummers or whatsoever. one example is the vocalist sings in a very epic voice, his vocals are mostly in high E. not many bands can match his vocal range, like it or not.(except maybe mariah carey).

And thats only one small part. still have the rest, like incorparating jazz styles, death metal blastbeats and so forth in their songs......too much for me to elaborate, and moreover we are off-topic already. So lets get back to topic please(despite the irony of me saying this).

Like what Xtreme-boy said, they are all good, lets not start comparing it'll never end...every band is good in their own way.......

So which bands are you guys looking forward to? i wanna see EMBATTLED!!! since they play power metal......
