Which store sell guitar strings cheapest?

I use DR Titefits, 9 - 42 for my main guitar.
I play her everyday. Or rather, every evening/night. For about 2 hours?
My DRs usually last 3 1/2 - 4 wks before I cannot stand the dullness.
If you are really obessed with string life, DR coateds lah... then listen as your tone gets strangled. :wink:

Hmm.
right now using GHS infinity steels.. pretty good IMO.. and they last up to about 3 months for me, esp since I clean the strings with string cleaner once every week.. I usually play about 2 hrs every alternate day.. sometimes everyday.
That said... I get my strings from music plaza.. I have the memebership card, so I get 10% off!

Anyway, maybe you ought to wipe the grime and sweat from the strings first, then proceed to applying the FF.
What's the point of applying if you are just going to wipe it off, just don't put so much that it becomes overly oily. Just a light layer would do. :wink:

Erm, if anyone of you didn't know...one of West Mall's shop on the 5th level has an instrument selling shop...saw a Squire there...and some strings...only 2 types I think...one of them is the Ernie Balls Super Slinky 9s...at 9.90(God...) Another one was also from Ernie Balls...but was in a yellow packaging...
