which one wld you get?

my selection for my new bass is down to 2 options. sterling by musicman ray35 and ibanez btb675

i really dnt know which to get, both have great specs, sounds gd, same price

which one wld u guys grab if you were me?

i try to play most genres

Not tried the Sterling but based on my experience with Ibanez basses, I'd go for the Sterling in a sec. Not a big fan of Ibanez basses.

they both look gd. the ray35 looks cool with tht big humbucker and the btb675 has this wicked combi of wood with a neck thru, sweet

ok, finally bought the ray35. decision factor was the neck, ibanez neck was too thin for me, feel uncomfy

Get a '57 P neck... the '62 and modern necks aren't baseball bat enough

ya, the necks are the main reason that I don't like Ibanez basses. Prefer the thicker necks that Fender style basses offer.

i'm more accustomed to the ibanez offerings for both guitars & basses but i make it a point to play other brand names in the name of variety & adaptation- if you can play, you can play anything... (as long as it's not broken)
