PRS has a replacement adjustable stoptail bridge, example being:

Wow, that's a nice pic of PRS Hollowbody II (or McCarty Archtop?), with accoustic piezos. Davis doesn't seem to carry one of these beauties. I think they're more pricey than the solid bodies PRS.

The malay dude at Sweelee. :)

malcolm's the dealer in singapore, but i don't think he has shipped in any stage kings for experiental testing as of yet. its their import line, actually, their only line as of now, after the USA line was discontinued.

so a down payment(gasp) is required. email him for any queries. i believe he quoted me around $1.2k, after including shipping costs, case, etc, when i emailed him... umm... a long time back (sigh).

yes, the top one is sweet. as sweet as jennifer morrison and emily vancamp lying on my bed singing lullabies (god forbid if they can't sing) that would somehow help me achieve the ever so elusive congrous segue into the Land of Nod.

and after all is said and done, more is said than done. i hope i'll be able to get that one after the end of these holidays. (work. work.)

no no... long time ago was approximately four months back.

besides, look at the direct prices on the site. multiplied by the exchange rate, adding in the costs of shipping and case, and there you have it, 1.2k territory.

Reverend has a very reduced rate for shipping their guitars overseas... its stated on their website... 75USD or something.

since you are into metal and stuff,i guess you are gona play fast leads or rhythms.Dont get a guitar with a thick neck like a les paul.

hmm then what shld i get? within my price range? ibanez gr? does it haf a thin neck? why isn't a thin neck good? intro be some guitars with suits metal. but i dun really prefer those sharp guitars. maybe those lyk gibson sg shape?

as evident here (pic: Gorgoroth's Infernus), thick-necked Les Pauls can be equally suitable for metal. it's what works for you.

i started out with Ibanez, a fairly slim-necked affair for a few years before i told myself that i'm getting too comfortable with my guitars & it was time to try something else.

the Fenders/ Gibson i tried couldn't match my Ibanez playability but i'm put off by all the wrong reasons- i compared them squarely with my Ibanez.

if you are starting out & looking for a certain guitar, SOFT is the right place to be. if you are moved by a certain proposal here, it's only half the query solution, the other half being your onus to try them out instead of solely relying on suggestions.

okay.. thx brother.. anyway what is the price range for schecter guitar? are they good? does sweelee sell the ibanez GR321 or 350? or guitar77 haf them?
