which guitar should i choose?

i feel that maybe the lp shape or maybe the gibson SG shape is kinda shape im looking for? so any guitars which suits what i kind of describe?

as objectively pointed out, within your prescribed price bracket, a Gibson LP isn't a consideration. there are many players out there who are in love with the LP's singlecut design but do not mind owning other brand names, even if these guitars do not replicate the LP philosophy faithfully (i'm one of them, hence my acquisition of an ESP Eclipse). the bottom line here is that the Japanese camp produces many afforable copies & it's your onus to try them out, leave the brand name as a secondary consideration. priorotize feel & tone. some stuff:

LTD Eclipse

Greco's GT models

this GT-850 exceeds the $1K limit by $350. after trying it, if you feel that it's worth the extras- it's worth it.

Burny's RLC models

Edwards ELP-85

also exceeding the $1K limit but worth it. collecting mine next month 8)

Hello, maybe a J&D les paul could fit that description you're after. Very cheap, around $400 and the make is superb. Burny LP's are awesome too, great quality for the price you pay. I like those two brands... As for pedals, I like the BOSS MT-2, it has a lot of tone shaping options. The Visual Sound Jekyl & Hyde, simply awesome pedal, covers a lot of tonal ground that's pretty cheap too.

hmm so maybe a ltd and a ibanez RG is a good buy?

whats the price of ibanez RG321 , 370?

and whats a good model for ltd?

the EL-85 is a superb LP type guitar i'd recommend to those who want a near-authentic LP tone. the good thing about the neck pickup is that it's not ill defined when you play upper register notes; a very healthy midrange response.

i'd forgotten to mention the PRS SE Singlecut 8) worth the $950 tag.

1 thing bad on the PRS SE singlecut is that u can only stick to 1 or 2 kind of string guage...so for ppl who like to uses heavy string gauge...beware..
