Which do you prefer? PH-3 or Phase 90

its milky,creamy and warm sounding!
ph3 has alot of cool stuff .
but if u want a straight up phase sound,its phase 90.
but it has a slight volume boost.

EHX small stone is good as well.
something like phase 90.
if u wanna go really crazy,get the ibanez pm7.

i'm using the phase90 at the moment. small, compact and does the job pretty well. has that slight volume boost as mentioned above.

i'm also thinking of the ph-3 for quirky step phasing. haha.

you might want to try this? i have been thinking of getting it. Im currently using the phase 90 too. Love it, but cant really tahan the mid boost when on.

Tried both side by side before, the phase 90 sounds better, but pretty limited in terms of controls,only 1 speed knob. whereas the PH3 has more controls for u to tweak and different modes of phasers, the sound is decent, but cant beat the phase 90. Both give a slight volume boost when used. I bought the PH3 in the end cos it gave me more options.

the phase 90 mod is commonly called the R28 mod if i'm not mistaken.

If I hang 2 amps from the ceiling and plug in to both of of them then swing them around I sometimes get this phasing effect.

Could never find an amp-like phaser to sound like that.

i juz got my byoc phaser , sounds much better than my other ph2. doesnt have that high pinging sound that the ph2 gives. I quite like the sound before distortion, but the effect is not strong enough. when placed after the distortion the effect can be heard much more but it makes the distortion sounds weaker.
Btw where do you guys place ur phase?
