I like the Dano PB&J mainly because, its a workable cheap delay with good features.
It looks cool.
Things like up to 1 sec of delay time - delay time is where more is just more lah... admit it. Dun use nvm, but its there so at least can use
It doesn't osciliate - you can max ur repeats and create a nice throbbing ambiences behind (not very analogish though)
You can get the repeats to sound louder than your original notes.
The long/short switch has the perfect ratio! you can switch from long to short, vice versa, and it sounds fine - no need to readjust the timing. Its not just a simple 50% cut in time length. Perfect I say, they got it right!
It looks cool.
however... the thing is still a digital delay with a slight treble roll off. The repeats distort too, like analog, but its clearly a digital distortion - apparent when you play with gain.
I htink it would suck for distorted leads. Nice for clean repeats.
Finally.. it is what is. Its a cheap delay that is bang for buck. That's it. Compared with a boutique delay like my Retroman Kopykat... it sounds miserable, like junk.

Everything in context.
