whats the cheapest prs guitar?

neuro: poo isn't harsh, it's very polite of him to actually tells you that where you went wrong. Imagine a paragraph peppered with expletives, or name calling to you...now that's what i call harsh.

Happily shooting your mouth off when you're not confident of the stuffs you're talking about, that's about the same way as how ppl told you to go learn fish scales like you've mentioned. Wrong info is wrong info, no 2 ways about it whether you're a newbie or "old bird".

Reading up alot on guitar stuffs is really good, perhaps if you have doubts...you can try consolidating your questions and put them in 1 post, I'm sure softies here will gladly explain to you and help you out. No hard feelings dude.

P.S: this will be my last post in this thread, it's waayyyyyyy OOT

Thanks

No worries dude, I understand :) I'll prolly do more research & seek help whenever I'm in doubt. Thanks for e advice.

Back to the topic . . .

but jus not realli able to understand some of e terminology that is stated in the site

No one's perfect man, not including myself. Just recently i was trying to wire up my guitar, took it apart, only to realize that everything seemed confusing and all. And it's the sort of thing which is difficult to understand if you're inexperienced. I left the guitar in it's parts and researched different sites for 2 days, forcing myself to understand, and finally i did up the wiring perfectly. It's a case of persistance man.. somethings are best learnt by trying and hands on, being unafraid to fail.. And the experience sticks in the brain, i can even name you the wiring codes and stuff now off the back of my hand.. hope you weren't too affected by what i've said...

Sure, i'll definitely help where possible.

The only Guitars which are Qualified to be called PAUL REED SMITHS

-Are the High Gloss models, Bird Inlays and no bull~
You can say yeah the SE series or whatever but you know that it'll only be PRS Esque~

Thats when I HATE people who dont call it like it is so often in the Buy/Sell Thread and wherever else on the Forum

for instance.

WTS : Gibson Epiphone les paul blahblahblah
WTS : ESP LTD mh blah blah lbha

who are you kidding, whats the point of adding the Big brother company infront of ur stupid thread?? it doesnt make it more valuable but points out the fact that you think the lil sister companies are inferior. and therefor you have to use the BIG NAME GIBSON or whatever to make you feel like you are selling somehting of "high status"

am not saying that the Epi and LTD or SE models are crap. i have owned guitars from each company and am satisfied.

JUST DONT, PLEASE DONT put some bullshit <tag> of a big name company infront just to make it look nicer, just

CALL IT AS IT IS. EPIPHONE/LTD STRAIGHT!!! finish.

PRS is so not worth the money. Why pay 3 -4 K for a factory made guitar? Davis makes a whole lot of money out of kids who think that price equates quality. Cheapest prs i know is 800+. i laugh when i see people show off their PRS's.

Exactly my sentiments. I'll never be seen with a PRS or Taylor because I can easily choose my specs and get a custom done for me by a luthier, who does it totally by hands. I saw a video on how Taylors are made, almost all machines. Not at all worth it in my opinion. You're paying for the brand!

But PRS I feel is way more worth it than Taylors actually. PRSs are made by both hand and machine, though by different workmen. They actually hand-rub the necks... Talking about the standard PRSs here, the SEs are totally machine made.

well...mind sharing the custom guitars u own? have u personally tried a USA PRS?not picking a fight or anything, but pls do understand...although taylors and other brands are made by machines, they do show that they sound better than other brands that are also made by machines u see,the reasonw hy u're apying such a high price for such brands and instruments are cos of the things used on the product etc. abalone, pearl, high grade woods, gold hardware, number of man hours of work and stuff...its like saying why pay 1.2million for a ferrari 599gtb when it is machine assembled when u can get a toyota corolla which is also machine assembled...its the quality and details put into it to make it a finer instrument u see.. custom-made or hand-made to spec guitars are like rolls royce or bentleys, long waiting periods after orders, and everything is hand crafted u see..thats why u pay a high price for it...the reason why i know about such stuff is cos i grew up around such cars..my god-parents love purchasing cars...its a totally whole different game..

TGM is factory mass-produced,Gibsons are mass-produced,Ibanez are mass-produced,PRS are mass-produced..if u were to be given 1 for ur birthday, which would u take,u would definitely not pick the TGM right?its cos a human mentality is that we are all greedy,we hope for the best,if given a chance,we will want it..when we can't get it,we become 1 of the 2 kinds (a)appriciate the item and hope for it with great antisipation or (b) lie to ourselves that its a waste of money and it is not worth buying cos its no difference.so many have said why pay so much for prs and gibsons, then when i let them try...they go..OIC..now i know why...

just my thoughts...

*new softies should start to watch their language and tempers on this forum..it is really getting out of hand with all the arrogance and foul language..if u wanna be a man,ask the guy out and have a cup of coffee and discuss the issues, dun stay behind the computer and start blasting away at people's comments just cos u think no1 knows u..remember..there was 1 guy on soft who went overboard and had his I.P address linked on soft so that everyone knew who he was i.e friendster accoudn and stuff... Grow Up,Be more peaceful towards comments and Learn from each other on soft..thats what this forum is for..learning new stuff about music and instruments..not blindly aggreeing on what we believe in and looking down on other's beliefs.
