First instrument i picked up was the recorder x).
That was until primary 3, when CCAs (ECAs back then) became compulsory. I joined the school's "anklung", where i picked up the drums under Mr Bernard Low (anyone knows his whereabouts now? i heard he's still in the business). I played drums for about a year, slowly learning, picking up skills bit by but and actually got pretty good with it (ehehe *tua kang*). Main job was to back up the anklung's though, the main instruments of the band. Played at chapel services for my school too.
About a year after that, I picked up the Bass to fill a missing spot in the band. Didnt go very far with that, and only learnt how to play root notes with it, thats it.
All these instruments had no "kick" in them, and music was beginning to bore me.
All that changed the day i picked up my first acoustic guitar.
I've never turned back since.
And eventually, i worked my way up to my present instrument, the Electric.
