What happen to the Winners of School of Rock?

i guess on the overall the impression is that they are the best among the others as a band on the whole......with songwriting....stage prescence everything into consideration.....

i'm just ain't a fan of punk rock......grew up on too much guns n roses..... i remember there was this band who did dragonforce's valley of the damned....if it's about technique i'm sure that band is definately better than 3dash1......

well sad to say that record company wld rather find bands who haf more entertainment value than bands who possess good techniques.

Lets do an equation here :-

1. Bands with HIGH entertainment value + LOW skill level = Most likely to get recognized.

2. Bands with LOW entertainment value + LOW skills/techniques = Most likely wont be recognized.

3. Bands with LOW entertainment value + HIGH skills/techniques = Less likely to be recognized.

4. Bands with HIGH entertainment value + HIGH skills/techniques = SURE get recognized.

This is my 2 cents worth.

hey guys/gals, i saw the pics of the finalists in the papers then. i realized that the singer of Halfestride is in one of the bands. she was one of the contestants of Singapore Idol too! is it just my eyes or am i right? just curious...

Yeah...she was in audio breakout....she's got a really good voice....as for 3 dash 1... i think those guys deserve the win.... Technicality might not be their forte but in terms of entertainment value, they beat basically all the other bands...in fact right from the start, one of the judges made a bet with the rest that they would win it...

dude you GOT to be kidding. i heard 3dash1 jam and they were tight, much better than many more seasoned bands.

there are way better bands out there than 3dash1, they should stop letting their ego get to their head. ive friends who've experienced their ego and it's a place where they shouldnt even be seen.
