i`m not talking tasteful or smooth here, more out of control chaos like...
stuff blowing up or what`s thaaat noise??

PS: i 'stole' this thread from TGP & im interested how our local musicians create their very own "general mayhem" :D :D :D apologies to the original thread starter

I usually on all my 3 stage drive pedals for feedback noise with my ring modulator. Sometimes using E13 TBD's feedback loop with various pedals on, in the loop.

CH1, DD3, any gain pedal with enough gain, set it so that it feedbacks when you face your guitar near the amp speakers, twiddle with modulation knobs on CH1 and DD3 for pitch shifting and manipulation of feedback.

Can also be done with the cable input (which is supposed to be on the guitar) plugged back to the CH1 2nd output, Slightly different way of controlling since you can't remove the feedback by moving away from the amp.

heh, hey thread starter, if you wanna more chaos, put another feedback looper in the feedback loop of the TBD and put more effect inside with a wah pedal as the last efx..

Loop the first feedback looping into the 2nd feedback looper, there can be some interesting sound in there...

or along the chain if theres any pedal with dual in and out, use one set of the in and out in the feedback looper and the other in/out to your normal chain.

Wa!!!! i think after all the looping, i will...........

imho, to have chaos and noise, but without using any distortion/fuzz, is the hardest..

it is possible thou, but cud be damaging to speaker or instrument

2 PS-3's at different settings into Holiest Grail/Verbzilla and get madness,
with a trex mudhoney kicking them to the limit

Lol..........i jus use my highest gain settings in my Pod and turn on everything frm chorus to delay. It is a tuneless mass of LOUD LOUD noise. For gd measure i turn on my amp's crappy dist. and BLAST! How abt that for total mayhem?

why not...

guitar > wah pedal > E13 TBD #1 > delay > killswitch > amp

#1 send > zvex fuzz factory > moog ring mod > keeley DD-3 > TBD #2 > return

keeley DD-3(with exp pedals) send > fuzz face > TBD #3 > zvex seek trem > return

#2 send > zvex machine > zvex seek wah > return

#3 send > dallas rangemaster > EHX q tron > phase 90 > return

your speaker probably would blow really quick, if your amp handles it.

every drive pedal on my board (z.vex fuzz and boost. eternity, ibanez lo-fi) running through an old ibanez ad-9 and then a harmonist and an echo park in a bypass loop with feedback knob, all of which goes into a digitech jamman..oh wait, that's basically everything on my board  for really trippy sounds, i turn on the metronome on the jamman and record some random chords and then play them back while feeding back the delay with fuzz self-oscillation and manipulating the pitch controls on the harmonist. sometimes i like to feed back the delay and then change the time knob settings while tapping the tempo, which creates this really weird industrial grinding noise.

my lead guitarist starts slamming on his guitar after he puts on his line6 ubermetal->Ehx Metal Muff->Turbo Distort->and Digitech Whammy on Two Octaves Up. ALL MAX GAIN

basically we all beat him up after that.

^talk about squeal.

actually you could just do a matt bellamy and put only a zvex fuzz probe in the tbd's loop, it'll be more than enough.
