What delay pedal shld i buy

Anyone can recommend me a good delay pedal based on their experiences?
Something along the lines of Digidelay, DD-3 etc....ard the $150-$200 price range. Usage of it is mostly juz to spice up solos..so sumthing like a DD-20 or 16 sec delay wld be overkill for me. Any ideas?Thanks

i'm bought over by randolf's DD2/3 mod. he was using it at the TAGS show at the substation. so yeah. heh.

Digitech digidelay would be really nice...tape echo sim, mod delay, tap tempo..definitely worth the money over Boss DD-X

Then why don't you just get a DD3 - around $200. Probably less now.

Frankly, between similar pedals at similar pricepoints from different manufacturers you aren't going to really notice that much difference sonically unless you are a real fidelity buff. I would venture to say that you should go for a lower end cheap version (Danelectro?) if you're just starting out.

I have a DD-6 which is fantastic, and also and ancient analog DM-3 which is warmer sounding, but only does 300ms of delay. I recommend the DD-6 or DD-3.

Why not consider the Line6 Echopark? Abt $265 at luthermusic. Although slightly pricier than a Boss DD3, you get more types of delay such as tape, analog, digital... with controls over chorus, wow n flutter, trails, ducking, etc.

I might be aiming for the echopark in the not too distant future, since i can't afford the top-of-the-line delay modeller from Line6 - the DL4

So far the problem with EP is that there is alot of white noise and hiss with certain batches.
