What Brand of velcro?

Hi people, I'm currently using "industrial Strength" velcro bought from Home Fix DIY to hold my pedals on my board. However, they don't seem to be strong as the sticky portion keeps coming out. What other brands you guys use that are strong and where do u buy them?

Thanks

Haha there ain't any brands to talk about for things like this bah... Velcro doesn't have to be the answer to your problems.

try adding foam tape to the underside of your pedals to increase the adhesive between the velcro underside and the pedal.

sorry, the proper term for it is mounting tape. it's like double sided tape, only stronger and thicker.

paste it on your pedal. then paste the velcro on the mounting tape. it works for me :D

+1 to zakk, 3M dual lock is the best i've been able to find in singapore. never comes off the pedal, and it grips damn tightly to the board (ie can turn upside down and shake). it's not really velcro per se, but it will stick to the loop side of the velcro (never tried the hook side). $3.90 from the hardware store in holland village, not sure how much it is elsewhere.

aiya. best just use a good old screw and a drill. screw the bugger onto the pedal board. it can hold together during earthquakes too.

btw, does anyone know how to mount velcro on a TS9? the base is kinda smooth and i tried sticking mounting tape first then the velcro but its still kinda not sticky due to the surface..
