We are in the top 10 category for places to find sexy girls!!!

when the topic of "sexy" is being mentioned. i read abit on the newspaper today, I think they're talking about "fashion" sexy. dressing.

other aspects of "sexy" can cover what you see/hear on the surface, like curves/voice.. or if not what lies beneath (ahem, THE MIND), like character/thought.

I don't know much about fashion, cos my opinion on it is that when someone asks me "do you find that girl sexy?" , I ask back "my personal view of 'sexy' or what the majority/industry labels?" i'm sure we all have different ideas of what kind of dressing on the girls is defined as sexy to us. whether is it the OLs, or the Emos, etc.

because nowadays "sexy/hot" is easily described in a few words , "lower cut on the top, higher cut (miniskirt) on the bottom. and mid riff missing." + "high heels - so the women walks in pain (if newbie) and her butt looks like it's sticking out, so it's perceived as
'sexy'" , the mascara, the lipstick, and the mani/pedicure. and of course the hair, rebond/curls whatever. it's the woman thing to "decor" themselves. but end of the day everyone has a different opinion. unfortunately singapore is mainly "monkey see monkey do" , so some easily-influenced individuals will go "oh, that girl is sexy because everyone else say she's sexy."

but i do agree some of the opinions stated on the papers , some local girls whom I used to know are very sexy in their own right, like yes, they're speaking singlish. but they're the ones who usually speak their mind outright in your face ... in simple singlish. haha. I used to know an angmoh guy who loved singaporean lians apart from their looks but cos of this in-your-face character that makes them "sexy". but he can never get them.. cos lians only interested in bengs. and how many times you heard local models say this ? "I used to be a tomboy when I was young." but as tomboy-like as they are, they appear "sexier"/more attractive than the feminine ones.

and i remember reading the side column saying the ones who dress ordinary in the club actually stands out more than the "hot girls" who try to dress up just to keep up. and that typical visual label of "woh look at that girl, wear until so sexy she must be wild in bed." obviously those are the opinions from shallow guys who never bothered to know the real insanely wild ones dressed up as geeks. but this isn't a sex forum, so none of us needs to know the details.

then again "attractiveness/charm" cannot be confused with "sexy" . like for example, hey that girl plays the drums. I got a thing for her. so what is that "thing" ? do you find yourself unable to keep your eyes off the way she plays the drums, her intense concentrated facial expression? or do you find yourself STARING at a certain bodypart instead? a skipped heartbeat? or extra heartbeat for the extra blood requirement somewhere else?

beauty/lust is in the eyes of the beer/beholder.

20cents worth, thank you for reading.

haha, whenver people think of vicko. they associate her with FGL, when they think of FGL they think of the Kaki nangs..

when people think of singapore having one of the most sexiest girls...
they think of........
hahaha

Cannot be because of the mixed-blooded folks what. If that is the case then why the men donch do so well? Assuming, of course that there are equal number of mixed gals and guys around - which is a safe assumption.

Contrary to what people think, SG gals are actually quite upfront about alot of things. Not to blow my horn or anything, but depending on which nightspot you go to, SG gals that you don't know can buy you drinks, come right up to you and touch and play with your hair, and oso gotch rub their chest, ass and elbows against you when there is ample room not to.

And I agree with bro Edder, SG gals dress much better. They also smell better and they generally wear really nice underwear! I RIKES!

Really ah? >.<

Sexy girls? I don't perceive sexy girls as those who dress as though they might as well go on bondage. But I find Singaporean girls lacking the charisma to totally charm guys. And thus the lack of the sexiness.

I mean, if ah lians start talking cock to me in Singlish, I won't be able to tolerate and stand it totally. And it's true that even though Singapore girls dress nicely, don't you realize every other girl looks the same on the streets?

I never truly understood the definition of sexy. *lol*

We do have presentable, smart, articulate, well-dressed, artsy and beautiful girls in SG, though. So if that means sexy, then we do. They don't have to be Eurasian or mixed blood for that. That's such a shallow view. Geez.

its kinda warped that the article writer finds singlish sexy. maybe because its foreign to them.

empihsrow: i dont see anything wrong with singaporean girls in general (besides the ah lians). and the problem of everyone dressing the same applies to most parts of the world, not just singapore.

i dont know bout fashion here man..
i think everyones wearing the same stuff..
first the little miss shirt craze,
then ah bengs with multi coloured skinnies,
and all that..

EVERYONE DRESSES THE SAMEEEE
its more like trend.. or copying..
not fashion..

Only if you're not walking along bugis street (Land of the lians)

Everyone looks the same there, in my honest opinion. Blue, yellow, red. It's like a cult following there.

Anyway, not that Singapore doesn't have pretty amazing sexy girls. Of course we have them, but they're kinda rare. Don't say I didn't say so. =D

I think Singaporean girls are afraid to be different. *lol* They just follow trends blindly sometimes. And they wear shorts and babydoll tops to every occasion (from what I've noticed) I do not own a pair of skinny jeans or Little Miss t-shirt, haha.

I really don't understand why they find Singlish sexy. Er...maybe it's exotic to them?

ok let me be more specific.

Singapore ladies IN GENERAL are better dressed than other S.E.A cities but MAJORITY IN GENERAL looks like a clone from Herworld/Cleo/Female/fillintheblanks latest issue BUT still they're well dressed.

And those who think that they're unique, guys included are actually not when you attend a HOMEclub gig or a Jrock gig or any other gigs that requires some sort of "uniformed" genre. Unique until when you put them together they look alike.

On a serious note this time...

I honestly don't see anything wrong with the way lians, SPGs, minahs, nanahs, kaninahs etc look. I mean you might have a certain stereotype or mindset as to how their characters may be and all that stuff, but that comes from the fact that you guys live and grew up here, and you know. If we are looking at it plainly on the factor of "sexiness" (whatever that definition may be) I'd say; yes. We have attractive women.

As for singlish, again it's annoying for some of us (me included) but hey, if that's what constitutes sexiness to others so be it.

Look, it's all a matter of perceptions, really. We're in the top 10, so I say our ladies should be flattered by it.

wah why everyone so SERIOUS? i mean just read the article. you really can take this thing seriously? or do you believe everything you read or listen to?

i think next time i should pull nonsense article out of my arse onto some random website, and netizens worldwide will be overanalyzing and seriously debating over my nonsense.

my guess is that the writer could only think of 9 destinations, and for the last one he just anyhow hantam

the difference betwen Singapore and Thailand is in Thailand they embrace their culture, in Singapore they look up to anything foreign.

There's a microbrewery pub(HUGE, can seat 1600 people) called Tawandang(pronounced Tawandeng) in Bangkok that serves very nice beer, filled to the brim with mostly LOCALS and their live band plays NONSTOP Thai music and the patrons lap it up. I guess everynight there is a blast for everyone.

True. But in Thailand they have quite a substantial amount of years to build a culture they can embrace. Singapore is not even half a century.

The question is: Do we have a culture to call our own? Because right now, our definition of culture is the cultures embraced by the forefathers of our races (which is like from some other foreign countries, anyway).

For now, we are a cosmopolitan city. So yeah, we borrow our style from everyone else (come to think of it, we do it with our music too). Do we have a choice really? We will have a culture when "Singaporean" becomes a definition of a race and not citizenship, like how Japan is to Japanese, China is to Chinese, Africa is to Africans etc. These races came from a country that have developed a culture built over a hundred years.

Unless you are thinking like America. Americans are not a race, it's a citizenship. Do they really have a culture? Of course they do: the MTV culture.

So people think our women are sexy? Great! I'm not complaining.
