I kind of like one of the shops around Parklane. Shopkeeper sells relatively decent guitars and pedals. Shop is small, giving a cosy environment. The keeper is relatively nice guy to talk to, won't mind if I talked to him the whole frigging day without buying anything in the shop.

He takes in 2nd hand guitars, which means that sometimes I find real gems in the shop, at relatively reasonable prices

^ No not really. Once they KNOW that they can't feed you bull, then it's decent for getting what you want and getting the hell out of there. The service is ultimately sub-standard and misinformed, and their prices are nothing to get excited about.

Only good thing I see about Swee Lee is that they have a MASSIVE range of products. Everything you want under one roof and behind one door

Actually I quite like sweelee. Maybe it's because I never had any real bad encounters. The few staffs at BBC are quite polite... I'm serious lah... and their carpeted floor and their aircon and the big area is a plus for them. haha.

Guitar Connection? Argh. I don't agree with the service.

I walked in the other day and was served by the shopkeeper, but all the time he was fixated on fixing the guitar he had and barely even looked up

heh, think of the good way, at least we know that he is dedicated to the job of fixing up the guitar. If we are the one sending in the guitar for a job, thats the way we like them to work on our instrument.

i wouldnt want a tech that keep getting interrupted while working on my instrument.

teleplayer, now you're saying that you like sweelee? Talk about major contrast between this and your previous post..

JMS: erm. I didn't say sweelee dishonest what...? I only said except their pricing.... I do not meant that sweelee is dishonest on pricing. sweelee's pricing is ...(dot dot dot) and that's one of their flaws. and i listed two reasons why TYMC is best (IMO). and I did have good services from sweelee.

hope this clears some misunderstanding...
