uncontactable/play out buyer thread

wow..someone who has been marked by u ben...must have really made u upset...whoever he or she is..should get a life and not spoil people's sale threads like a certain animal..

waste my time & sms. wonder if this is a man or a small girl.

LOL!!! Good move posting this. But seriously, there should be a sticky thread listing buyers or sellers that people need to be wary of. Yes, I SAY NAME THEM ALL! [/quote]

I would say LIVE AND LET LIVE.

If a dude like me were to put up numbers of problem deals recently, you guys would be surprised at who is on my list...do you think that is positive for this forum?

Everyone has a bad day. Sometimes, i put myself in the other person's shoes (with great difficulty ) and think to myself, that maybe the other person has had to deal with an urgent personal matter, or even financial for that matter...who knows?

As to why these people screw deals up by not updating the buyer/seller, i wouldn't know.

Some say they forgot, some say they bought something else or sold to someone else...at the end of the day, you would know to be wary of that person the next time.

How would you like it if someone put up your number slagging you as timewaster/lowballer/cheat/slanderer/god of gambler all because you unintentionally slipped up on a deal? Pissed?

Everyone has his/her bad day....we should just learn from the experience and move on. 8)

haha i know guy who is much worse.. but i shant talk bad abt him... but i was so furious that i almolst smashed my guitar then.. haha

I would not waste my time, sms, PM or post on these people.

I would just send them a stern note about dealing mannerisms and take note of them for future deals.

Yeah, i have my own interesting list of Softies...

i would say Hang em and let em dry!!~

Probably we could have a thread of Good guys / Bad guys list

Good sales should be deserving and so should bad ones....

This would probably raise more awareness in terms of transactions yes? 8)

eBay ratings?...

can't avoid such things... more and more pple are drawn into this buying and selling business. G-A-S is rising, pple are getting more implusive in their purchase, lowballers are getting from bad to worse. some pple are 24x7 eyeing on the buy/sell forums, everything also wanna buy, but after the excitement of thinking they are going to own that gear is over, they simply tell you they're not getting it, giving all sorts of lame excuses, nothing new...

haha..this thing happened to me twice with soft forumers when dealing with my strat..it really gives me the high blood preassure..

LOL...interesting analysis but quite true, especially on SOFT.

Anyway, for the seller, it's always best you have the final say on place and time to deal, NOT the buyer. If he decides to "fly aeroplane", at least you're not so "inconvenienced". Also don't make reservation. How many times have you seen buyers in this forum asking people to reserve (giving reasons like need to raise cash, going overseas, etc.) and then pull out later? Countless? You bet.

yea..juz like someone who reserved my strat for like 2 weeks..and i turned away 3 buyers (with a buyer offering 30 bucks higher den my selling price)..

and in the end.he f*cked me up by buying another fella's strat which he claimed was cheaper and in mint condition..has he tried my strat? NO!

pissed me off real bad..and he began his apology with a "LOL"...asswipe.

same kinda thing happened to me, don't know if same person.

agreed to deal on wed then when it came to wed, i called him and he said he never wanted an amp -_- deleted his number though.

dude, same thing happened to me recently...what to do?

just smile and carry on with your day...no use burning up grey matter about it haha...not worth it i say
