TubeScreamers Galore!~

okay, this is an old thread... but did a search on somthin i wanted to ask!

what is the difference, in terms of the type of sound, between a TS7, TS808, TS9, OD3, SD1 and a BD2?

i haven't had a lot of 1st hand experience on those pedals but i heard from randolf the BD2 is most probably the odd one out as it uses a variation of a fuzz circuit...

but how bout the rest?

hahaha... I can't believe my posts when I was in the dark.

Eh Edder, last time ah, in this thread ah.. when I was toking abt "tone suck" ah... it was really refering to the bypass state leh....

TRUE BYPASS FOR LIFE!!!!!

and shredcow, last time also ah.... 808 mods has got nothing to do with improving tonesuck!!!

Oh no, not the TS808 mod, but randolf modded my TS9DX to suck less treble / tone when in bypass.

Thats why I said so.

thats what randolf told me lah. So that's all i know since i'm no tech... just awaiting proper instruction since I no longer really bother with tubescreamers... or... well.. since I'm not a tech in the first place.

wrong! ala HCFX, this thread is useless without pics/clips !!!

I tried out the *ahem* WMUM Overdrive, and i must say the the pregain control is wonderful! Can't rmb exactly what it sounded like, but I remember my eyes sparkling. hahaha what an exaggeration eh.
