Tube Amps

ok..since there's so much people asking.
ask my friend in church to check liao.... kena scolding.........
10" speaker
can see Celestion but can't see the model unless dismantle the thingy.
1 tube.
and I'm not going to dismantle it.............

So in that case sounds like a hybrid amp with 1 12AX7 maybe... N its shld be as celestion design speaker, sought of like those on kustom amps...

just a wild guess since im bored in office

Don't think so... I got the kustom also last time.
the tone not full at all. the current one is a full tone.

Thanks for finding out for us, interesting that your friend will reprimand you for such a request.

Anyway 1 tube, 1x10"..........

Care to elaborate what is the full tone you hear?

lol... my friend is the church worker.......... not a musician......... I put in the church workers office....

This sort of cements my belief that a trip down to GC will waste about $1.60 of train fare, for me that is. Edder, i'm shoo sorry...sahasrara still on me list! $350 amp down the toiletbowl!

eh ark....you and me is know...amusing threads abound in soft!

bo guitar workshop toob amp leh. today went down to check, they only got some cheena brand called Alpha Omega. Didn't try it out though..

I checked already...

the amplifier that I have is Alpha and Omega.
Alpha and Omega is a brand name of Guitar Workshop

- Speakers celestion G10
- 2 tubes..
- Controls
- Drive
- Volume
- Bass
- Treble

Its cheap because its made in china. that's all my info.

eh.. now got 2 tubes ah.. hmm. so most prob 1 x preamp (could be 12AX7??) and 1 x poweramp (could be EL84??)

Very much like the epi valve jr. then.. ahah

don't know what is the 12Ax7 and EL84.... lol got to google
anyway.... went down today and the owner ask me to help them with some IT stuff so cannot post anymore on this topic...will be unfair liao since now freelancing a bit.

I don't know of any Fender tube amps from the 60's or 70's with 2 tubes.

Edit: Ok I went to check up a bit. There are a couple of smaller fender amps with 2 tubes, not including the rectifier tube. Like the Champ.

Might be an interesting buy or worth a try if they build these to those old specs.

a modified fender champ can have 2 tubes.

1 12ax7 and 1 6l6. solid state rectifier.

anyway for 350 for a champ copy quite worth it lah. if its a champ copy.

think about the following

output transformer
power transformer
chassis
cab
speaker

Yeah the word is 'if'. hehe 8)

more likely a repackaged china OEM version of something else? (Epi valve jr? Crate 508?)
