it was an Awesome movie in my opinion!
more action n more fighting scenes. & Optimus Prime fights way better than in the first movie. definitely THE movie of the year!

Didn't like the first Transformers movie, didn't like this one either.

I think the Transformers look really ugly and I slept through parts of it, except for scenes with Megan Fox.

Don't know why my eyes automatically open whenever she's on screen.

One can only take that much 'eye candy' but as I said, I don't fancy how the Autobots and the Decepticons look in this movie either.

Really doesn't make sense. The Transformers are obviously advanced creatures but while some shoot out laser beams, others still fire rounds like a gun? That's so primitive and illogical. And the human soldiers expect to use teeny weeny rifles to fight and ward off humongous robots? That's ridiculous!

And an 'old' looking Transformer walking around with a cane and has beard like things around his face?

That's bonkers!

Don't even get me started on the bad acting.

It's one of those movies that you can actually leave your brains on the shelf at home.

I rate it 1.5 out of 5 stars.

haha...u're watching transformers n u expect things to b logical???

lemme tell u wat's illogical:
bad guys always have many chances to kill off good guys. but instead, they point the gun at the good guy n talk lots of crap. n somehow they sure will miss their shots. in the end, the good guy will just have one n only chance, n he'll b able to kill the bad guy.

Wah piang, of course anyone can see it's a fantasy movie BUT this fantasy is set in a current world.

Yes, the Transformers can do anything the director fantasize them to be doing but the humans leh? Obviously the setting is not some distant future type like Star Trek or even Terminator but SURELY they are not that dumb to shoot at giant robots with 5.56mm rounds?!

The key to a good (or at least tolerable) movie, to me, is PLAUSIBILITY.

Not downright illogical.

If you want to do fantasy - go all the way.

Even the fantasy movies have good stories for people to follow.

the robots looks like they are doing friendly fire! I couldn't figure which is good which is bad.

My friends came out and all were like witnessing the best movie of all time, I was like "wtf" man.

Talk about brainless movie, I still very much prefer Stephen Chow "Mo Lei Tau", the budget is much less too. :)

Best movie of all time?

You must be kidding me man!!

Either that or you must have some friends from some special needs school.

IMO it's sound design isn't that good this time round. Episode 1 is much better. The best sound design I've heard so far for this year is Terminator Salvation. Again IMO, I feel that Transformer 2 isn't worth watching coz it's storyline is kinda like you will expect what will happen. The sound design didn't get me into the picture, Music is not impactful either, and the CG is is not so great this time round too. You can kinda tell that it's animated this time round. Lastly, the size of robots (i.e. Optimus and Megatron) seems to be very big at one scene, but smaller at other scene. The proportion just didn't seems to be constant throughout the movie.
