Tonefactor Cream Pie Deluxe

hello guys.. hope its alright if i pop by later.. kenneth said its ok. i'll bring my stuff and my drri. now the headache part - choosing which axe to bring...

woot ,nice stuff you guys have... enjoyed my self thoroughly last night and i pity fibredrive's neighbours. we were pretty loud...

pics will be up soon

its a mosfet boost pushin a Germ trans on ff based circuit !!
At lower gain its an overdrive ....

My Pixie(ff based) is almost clean boost when i roll off my guitar volume :D

outcome is that the Creampie is the most bang of the buck pedal in the group!

I'll let benwen and maybe Chanmin elaborate on that.

The Bstone didn't sound good with fibre's JSX head/marshall cab. Sounded too shrill, even stacked with my TS9. Somehow didn't drive it w enough oomph. Pretty different from the tone I got with the AVT marshall stack, which I thought was pretty kickass.

We didn't do a screwdriver test.

Tubezone..well I think this guy needs tweaking, I have yet to sit down and play around with it, but it wasn't what I was looking for last night. With that many knobs, it's prob an extremely versatile pedal, but needs tweaking to get the sound-in-your-head.

It wasn't a showdown la, wasn't meant to be anyway haha. Just a bunch of friends sharing gear, learning new things from one another, and talking cock. =)

Creampie is the new kid on the block man! Post your clips benwen!

@ USD109, it got potential to be bang for buck!

KenC, you meant, you used the Bstone on the dirty channel of the amp?

dan, i tried both w the clean and dirty channels of the JSX. both rather unsatisfactory. But the bstone sounds really good on my laney VC30 at home, and even better on the AVT150 stack. Oh well. =)

Do u get piercing highs from the red channel of the bstone when ur guit is in bridge pup position? I get highhhhhhh feedback.

Our wonderful host and rock maestro.

I've yet to run the bstone into a JSX... tried some other old peavey amp, Fender Twin Reverbs, Marshalls (tube & solid states), Roland JC and etc etc... the amp the Bstone didn't like was 1 of the 2 Fender Twin Reverbs... sounded fizz-ish on it with a loose low end... like how do you get a loose low end on the bstone?! 8O Ugh, the curse of OD pedals - matching them to amps.

Eh, no leh.. I don't get piercing highs... no feedback too! Have you tweaked ur bstone for the mandatory 1 month period? :P Have to leh... bloody thing-a-mah-jig needs that kind of tweaking.

certainly worth dragging 70kg worth of gear up and down for me.

Chanmin! That's a Skreddy Duo! No tonefactor there!

I see a Barge Concepts BP-1 harmonic procolator clone on Benwen's board! Tell me it isn't true!

cannot the pedal case is my portable carpet flooring system.

this and my specially engineered amp trolley are my most precious possesions now. muaaHaHaHah

but i may sell all my pedals and just buy two creampies. i love creampies..
