The visualsound Jekyll And Hyde

haha alot of ppl seems to like using the J and H to solve their overdirve/dist worries. I prefer just a TS9 and a Metal Zone though.

Would consider changing to one when i get a larger pedalboard........ :D

i is played wif my fren's Jekyll and Hyde before...

Distortion channel i feel is pretty decent but i is hates the overdrive channel... somehow it seems "muffled" to me, no matter how i tweak...however..i dam like the ts9 especially if played through a tele...

as for deucetone, not much experience wif it...but i myself own a You Dirty Rat and i is likes it... doesn't seem to be a problem whether i play chords or single notes... but no light stuff able to come out of this pedal...

but all in all deucetone is deucetone, Dirty Rat is Dirty Rat...hope this helps...

It is comparable to a stock ds1 and 808 combi, however a bit more versatile with the scoop settings. However, it is much cheaper than getting the ds1 and 808 separately. So, if cost if your thing, you can't really get a better deal than this, which is probably why its so popular.

The '808 mode is alright, pretty much what you get from the real thing with the mid hump, but just slightly different. The other side however has probably more useful settings than the stock ds1.

I think if you're looking at getting an 808 and ds1 combi, then maybe J&H is worth a look for the price and the compactness. Otherwise I dont think it would deliver.

used to own a deucetone... Buy it cuz u wanna a rat tone, dont buy it n expect it to do something else!!! KEEP that in mind, cuz u r only gonna get a rat out of it, cant do others..

Overall its a v gd dist pedal, set it well n u can get v nice wicked fuzz from it, fat to buzzy chainsaw like. Nice vintage rat too, turbo doesnt do it for me, neither does the clean.

Like i said, its gd if u want a rat pedal with more whiskers, but dont expect it to do something else like ts or somthing. Its a rat, that simple.

return it cuz u dont like it? U mean Mr misse got a return policy on not liking it meh? Did u try n test it b4 hand? Maybe u shld sell it instead 2nd hand, if its not a defect prob...

Hehe.

I hear a difference on the OD of J&H and Route66 (first versions anyway) - even though they are supposedly the same thing. I find the Route66 version sweeter.

EXACTLY.Wah Like that if everyone dun like their pedal after a while then Mr misse lugi sia....bro, IMHO sell off second hand more gentlemanly.

No offence :D

I agree with snuffleupagus

Yup, No offence too. But we need to support these indie pedal importers mah. They try so hard n put their own $$$ to import rare exotic pedals that bigger music shops dont bring in. N they take a big risk of being stuck with sotcks, no buyer n all...

Need to appreciate them lah, try bringing something back to SL n say wanna return cuz dont like it. The onus shld be on the buyer to know what he wants mah. Wats Mr Misse gg to do with a used deucetone still new n gd condition, but cant sell it as new.

I bought mine with alot of hassle on ebay n all. Now got local distributor so much easier.

Enuf said, really no offence ah, dont take it personal. But help them lah, as much as its a hobbie for them, its also business. Now alot of ppl may think, oh if buy from Mr misse, can return if dont like after read ur comment.

Sorry if i stepped on anyones toes, sincere apologies

well he can buy it back at half of retail price.

then sell it at 25% off retail price and say that is a customer test set.

hur hur hur...

dodginess is me....

but really lah... sometimes, certain products that we sell (Disclaimer: Mrmisse and me are separate entities...) have such LOW LOW profit margin, don't push us too hard.

Proco stuff have LOW profit margin.

jekyll channel sounds nice only with single coils for chord work. but i think it's a good lead tone for humbuckers if u scoop the mids and/or roll off the tone knob. get a very good smooth jazzy tone
