yea it was sunlight and was using manual mode so i set the shutter abit too long.. If i try to reduce the glare then the shot becomes quite dark.. I have lots to learn.

So far i only upgraded to black knobs.. lmao! Havent upgrade pup yet since quite bz now.. Prolly holiday time.
 
hmm .. actually exposure wise.. i personally think its ok. its the Photographer's composition that allowed too much of the sky to reflect off the shiny black body...end up look like got a super big white pickguard over the strat body.

Your pic is sharp and got good contrast .. not overdone at all.. maybe next time you just play around with the angles abit sure get better results.
 
I actually thought the picture was very well taken.

Its an interesting shot.

Good definition and the light played off the black body/black knob/white pickguard, highlighting yet blending the colour contrast.
 
Damn!!! I just lost the bid for a 1954 custom shop strat on ebay this morning. Was outbided in 5 secs towards end of auction!!!!!!!
