Strat bought from FGL.

Bought a strat from FGL recently.

HSS Configuration ( Special routing. )

The single coils are further apart than usual.

All parts Rock Hard Maple One Piece Neck

Squire Japan Body.

2 Single Coil EMGS and an EMG 85 Humbucker.

Graphtech Saddles. Original Fender Bridge.

Gotoh Tuning Heads

Steel Block replacing the old zinc one beneath the backplate for added sustain.

ok now lemme revive this thread due to my love for strats and the like.

my fender cij 54 re-issue.
dimarzio area 58 neck, virtual vintage blues mid and fast track bridge.
serves all my tonal needs from jazz to blues to rock to metal. limited only by the no of frets on this neck lol.

Hi i know it's been quite awhile since someone posted in this thread but i guess it'd be only appropriate to ask strat related stuff here haha..

so yea here goes,
recently i've been gas-ing for a strat..
i've tried em felt great
but then with so much factors to consider when buying a strat i would like to enquire on some of the qns i have so yes from my understanding now,

1) mia's have better hardware/pups/body made of max 3 piece wood
2)cij alot of people have been saying that it's comparable to the mia's and best of all it's cheaper.. other thn that i dont really know much bout the cij's
3)mim pretty much the outcast.. inconsistent qc? but with that said some people vouch that it's equally good as the mias?

there i pretty much sum up whatever i know i guess, so yea the strat-perts kindly share some jizz haha
hmm oh ya from what i know mia's comes with a pretty good hardcase eh? what bout cij? i heard it comes with a gig bag, is it well or heavily padded?

doesnt matter haha got my mij strat already

it sounds great even with the stock pups
tho there are things my rg can do but my strat cant vice versa.. but yea trying to adapt.. it's my first strat and im pretty much surprised by how great strats are, despite having a bad impression of strats when i just picked up the guitar haha
