Some of my past strats... Love all of them but had to make way for new ones.

Deluxe Players Strat with upgraded Jeff Beck Noiseless Pups. This went to a lucky kid named julian. This is his very first strat.

I think so...
I havent seen one that dont have a yellowed laquer over it. Maybe its also due to aging...
I saw a 6oth anni bass at SL recently as well. same color ya. Also yellowed. If you had bought urs here, U might have gotten my piece. haha

My 2008 standard in blizzard pearl is not yellowed though. will let u know in a couple of years time if the color aged ;)
hehe

60th Ann MIM had tinted necks as standard, it was one of the selling points, together with the then unique blizzard pearl finish and tex mex pickups.

yea we are talking about the body finish...its much more yellow as compared to the pictures and the us standard blizzard pearl finish..

junkiemanxl, nope i got mine when it first came out...one of the first to have gotten em..

It's a very good piece for its price. I kinda regret selling it. I think there were a couple of post from various softies who regretted selling their 60th as well. I'm one of the many who joined the club.

Oh, i didn't know you were talking about the body. Yes it did turn yellow after about 5 months.

I bought mine when Sweelee got their stock in, so it wasn't that long after it was manufactured.

Weird thing was it aged even when not exposed to light. I kept it in a hardshell case and it turned yellowish.

I could tell that it aged because it was no longer blizzard pearl. The original colour is exactly like the american standard colour in BP finish. The mex one is the aged aftermath.

haha yeap...but i not much of a fan for the frets..i prefer 6105 ones..partly due to my heavy string prefernce and my obsession with blues bends..might consider a full refret in a few months time..

actually, I think its a common thing for the 60th to aged and yellow, but mine is having this greenish tint actually. and I'm seriously happy that I got the strat cause its super worth the cash... got to love the feel of it... changed the pups to Lace sensors Holy Grail.. Tex Mex aint my things... haha
