The Stratocaster Appreciation thread

Kenneth, look at it this way, at least your future amp won't cost more than USD 3000 (unlike guitars)

... then again, who knows, maybe you'd like 2 amps in stereo :mrgreen:

When hit by GAS... you will always have reason why your need more than 1 USD3k amps

Yes yes...as the two of you wld very well know hehehe  drool...

but no la...i only need an amp w a nice clean channel...so I'll just stick w the simple stuff :)

Dont mind us Kenneth ... we're just troublemakers looking to generate a lil G.A.S.

There are really some good sounding and value for money pedal-friendly tube amps out there ... no need to look too far.

enroute to my dealer as we speak!

Edo: your Suhr definitely looks beautiful.

Plactic: are you looking for slightly more aggresive tones but within the single-coil form? Just the bridge pickup or all of them?

JM: Thanks.....i have yet to confess to you that the room which stores all your amps and guitars is lagi sexier!

edder: i thought 'lak sek' is the in thing, with all that relic rage and banged up dingo dings look

Well, it is a denim slate blue finish. I wouldn't expect anything lesser than what the finish is named after :)

wah suhr has done it again. always comes up with such amazing figured tops. looks like an old super washed and tattered pair of jeans i have.

The small hole there was from a string tree which popped off on stage while i was solo-ing. and then i got another string tree. and then it popped out a few weeks back at home. hahaha

think either the holes too big for the screw or the woods too soft. might wanna try adding a lil wood chips into the hole before screwing in. would make a tighter fit and thus wont pop out. nice finish btw. love the look of the guitar.

thanks. haha. its heavily modified. haha. and only set up by beez. he's been the only one handling this guitar since day 1. had some neck warp issues which he fixed and adjusted the usual stuff for me within like 20 mins?!?!? fast and good.

yeah. woodglue and toothpick. thats the trick. :D

i did so on my first guitar for the strap pins. haha.
