i was looking at those pics and it brings back old memories! i just realize that most of them looked like Loudness and Earthshaker of those period. i used to live in Tanglin Halt, all the Mat Rocks at the void-deck can play Heavy Chains note-for-note on a Kapok or Congress guitar with inch high actions!

talking abt guitar, i'm still looking for a CD version of a guitar instrumental album by Hillary (guitarist for Search in the early years). i love that album a lot then. i must have the cassette somewhere...

BLARDIE NICE! lol. the sinar fm radio station alwiz play the old songs larh from the bands. eng n malay songs. go tune to 87.80 fm depends if u can get it. try to put the radio near the window. go listen. the oldies are the best! :wink:

talk abt wings - trilogy album.. here's the pic of awie promoting trilogy album. this was ar ipoh..

I remember when Europe (the band) came to Singapore, it was Wings that opened the show and they were really tight... although the sound was abit loud and mixed too muddly. The drummer (was it Black) and their left-handed guitarist then really impressed me.

Also remember borrowing a Black Rose tape from a classmate just because I thought they looked really cool and I don't actually understand the language...

the lefthanded guitarist is called JOE WINGS ... he is another popular malaysian guiatarist other than MAN KIDAL.. personally i like JOE more... for me his guitar sounds got his own trademark..

anyone heard the songs SEJATI and NASIB KITA? Joe solo's really impressive man.. love it like siao..!!!

anyway...
anyone knows that the band MAY did a live concert in planet hollywood?

i got the VCD'S anyone interested? i can encode some of their unpulugged version of CINTAMU MEKAR DI HATI and SENDIRI .. knn that MUS (MAY VOCAL) voice really super duper maintain sia! maintain foreverr... rockkk kanggkannggg habbiss siutt!!!
