Proud dad moment here: my 4.5 year old son, while not quite writing symphonies as Mozart was at the same age, is at least writing down some 'real' music.
He's been very much into reading and learning about volcanoes recently and decided he wanted to make volcano music. He started out by choosing a sound on his Yamaha keyboard then mashing the keys getting some very scary minor sounds out of it and saying 'this is the music of the volcano erupting' - honestly it was quite appropriate and moody!
Later then he pulled out his pencil and paper and decided he wanted to score this - he ended up with this polite little piece, which, while it is missing clefs, bar lines and even the correct number of stave lines is an actual piece of music based on the notes he has learned at his piano school.
Once he had written it out, he played it on the piano, then got me to play it on the guitar - correcting me when I played the wrong notes.

Mine is.
My dad was a keyboardist from Philippines.
Outstationed to KL. Then he met my mum, who was a lounge singer back then. Imagine them do a duet.
Currently, my dad is a keyboardist for a Malaysian Orchestra 
well my mum, a corporate hottie. HAHA.
They both have influenced me and my brother musically.
