Piezo

Same here, a lot of GAS building up.

Question to all the EBMM users: Does anyone have any experience with the piezo sound in the Axis SS?

I once tried the piezo on a Parker guitar.... but it did not sound that much like an acoustic, but more like a bright Tele bridge pick up.

The Piezo comes with EQ. Can tweak to your tone preference. And also, the piezos are the same as the Parkers, I think. They both use Fishman ya? I've tried the piezos thru PA systems, and it's fine. Thru normal amps, and it's so so. But thru a real acoustic amp, wah lan eh... steam...

Piezo sounds best direct to the mixer or through an acoustic amp...

Doesn't sound like what it should through a guitar amp though...

Whitey, does your mag PUs sound different when using the mono/stereo outputs?
Mine does... My mags sound treblier on the mono output...

I can't too, under normal circumstances... But when I tried to just play the mag pickups directly through my recording card, the difference is very very obvious...

You fellas keep talkin about piezo. I am gonna get one, one day. Yes - it will either be a BFR AL SSS with rosewood board & Piezo, or a supa sparkle LE10 Diamond Top Silo Spec SSS & Piezo!

Mine don have piezo & i don wana think about it. Really scares me that i might get another JP.

Actually, I probably WILL buy another JP6 in time to come... Every guitar I will use for gigs must have a backup. I think the safest backup for my JP6 is another JP6... heh...

But this time, I think in white will be nice...

Ok... I'm going to test water a bit. What's the odds of you finding a JP6 in white fully loaded?
