So whats the best wah for metal soloes in your opinion?

Put all your views here!

Whatever brand. Crybabies. Weeping Demons. Whatever!

I'm looking at the Crybaby From Hell! If you have this do tell me yr experience with it.

Thanks!

i find crybabies abit too high pitched, so i kinda settled with a budda wah, it can get really nice and bassy or smooth trebbly.. well i think the budda wah suits musicians that wouldnt want their wahs to get too trebbly..

so i vote for budda wah... and also no knobs.. better for lazy people like me :)

owned a 535q b4 but i think the 535q or a dime wah
should do fine due do its versatility of knobs and its
frequency ranges.

but an rmc wizard wah has tht wide sweep and voice tht
goes very very well wif high gain stuff

here's an example of the wizard wah...it'll rock you off i tell u :D . totally

Wow i can definitely hear the wide sweep here.

But these RMC wahs are very pricey right?

I checked the web and the authorised dealer here in SG is...

SINGAPORE
Tan Yee Yong
Blk 378, Clementi Ave 5,

Singapore

Its a person?

Where did you get yours?

why would you need a wah when playing metal?its metal about pure technicality and shred?

a wah is more like a dampener.only that it has 2 pitches.

heh, even gain, is a form of effect. To alter the inherent sound of the electric guitar...

the basic wave form of electric geetar signal is being processed by the gain circuit and heard by us. If thats not a form of effect, then metal shud be played with plain electric geetar signal

imo zakk wylde wah is more 'metal' than dime wah. But well if u place ur drive pedals infront of the any wah.. it will sound rather fiery and 'metal'
