My First Time!
Although there are so manny people who say good and bad about jamming studios.
I would say the jamming studio Call Club Paradise near my home is the first studio that I know of that they give free jamming some times and birthday gift on jammers birthday. ha..ha..(Funny Lah)

Review of Jamming Studio I ever went
Seng Chai - Have closed down and yet the best memories i've ever had. It's where all the Mat Rockers gather, meet ups and jammed there. I was only 13 when i started jamming there when usually it always fully booked and all other mat rockers with their band waiting for their turn to jamm. Many great guitarist ever jammed there and i too love to watch them play eg. Child In Time, Raven guitarist Boy Malmsteen.

Worst jammig studio after year 1999. however it is still the best place for the mat rockers to jamm. (Closed For Good)
X Jamming Studio - X-Tech guitarist studio. Good Place however the place is small. Equipments is good however you must know how to balance ur sound as the place is cramp and the location of each amp varies. Its where you can meet Fatskunks.

Lee Kwong Seng - Keith no longer there, he's a nice guy, friendly person. Its been a long time since the last jamm there.I ever jamm there before it relocates near to the camp. Last time was at the factory further near to the mosque. A place for bands especially PUNKS, SKA, SKINHEADS, Deathmetal last time. Equipments simple amps, however some amps have been more than 10 years of service.

Beat Merchant - Well for starting of a studio,this place was great. and now i should say bad. Favourite room 1 and 3, MY ENCOUNTER hmmmm... well on tat day, i plug my guitar and the MARSHALL AMP, however it's not werking. asked the small boy staff and he informed me its already spoilt. WTF and even told me to use the PA system and told me the band before me also had use the PA system. I told him back angrily that i pay to jamm here and takes 1 week in adv to book and end up i got no amps to use!! theres some small commotions for a while and at last get me a small amp from room 2 which is to be use by keyboard and let me use it. WTF!!

lol.. beat merchant's studio 1 currently dam kickass, i think they changed the drumkit.. faster jam in that room before the equipments spoil..

If i had to book a jam, the places i would call, in order, are-
- Ebenex (nearest, cheapest, bestest)
- Wee Lee Aljuned (know the uncle, and there are always rooms that are free)
- Fourtones (love Nazri! and the place is always in great condition)
- *scape (great equipment and nice location to bum around afterwards and run into familiar faces!)
- Beat Merchants (can go sheesha afterwards)
- Zai (lovely place but a little out of the way)
- L Cube (used to jam there all the time, but i think we stopped when it got more expensive)
i guess there are several sort of jams- the chill out, anywhere anytime jams, the "oh shit gig is tomorrow" jam where we typically book a better studio, and the "everywhere is booked already!" jam where we just go wherever we can.

Favourites: Lcube studios - only tried the suite room once cause the small ones were fully booked. the suite was awesome.gd first impression.

worst I.M.O : The studio at Eztech factory located at semei. don't realy like the uncle and equipment there. amp totally sucked. the last time i've been there was almost 2 yrs ago. don plan to go there nemore. i tried 3 of their rooms. can't remember which one though.
and the uncle is a VERY VERY heavy smoker.he told me once tt he wanted to smoke alot(like 1 to 3 packs a day?) so he could die faster. so i dunno if he had died during the past 2 yrs or not.lol

i jammed at beat merchants yesterday after a long time, and i must say, the equipments are geting BETTER! drumsets are getting better at least.. Room 1 is getting awesome! ahahah

I used to jam at Beat Merchants until recently. All the known jamming studios were fully booked for the slot that I wanted so the last place i called was A10 studio. A guy answered and said, "Hello.. Odiocrib"..
I was like "huh? This is not A10?"
The guy replied, "Last time A10, now new studio, Odiocrib"
To cut story short, they had a slot and they offerred me the biggest room.
Ever since that day, i jam at Odiocrib. They have 3 rooms but so far I only tried their biggest and middle room only. Biggest room is the best, new marshall amps, with sofa, and most amazing of all, they have monitor speakers like those bands use on stage.
The ppl working there also very nice. Always smiling and willing to help.
But the only set back is that, weekends always fully booked. So I'll either jam on weekdays after work or really really book early if i want to play on weekend.
I'm gonna check out their small room next round

The studio is near my home. My family go to the coffee shop which is beside the studio often for makan.All I know the owner only sometimes give free jamming only on like chinese new year,Deepavail,Hari Raya youth day etc..If everyday close shop lo. Hhahaha...
