somehow i totally despise a7x. to me their just posers..
lol thats my opinion, its just fked up when the ppl around u claim to be metalheads when their definition of heavy metal is,, a7x!

it was a vote, so it looks like lots of people voted for Metallica as the best and worst band. it seems like the reason why people don't like Metallica is because they've changed too much since the MoP days.

Hey..you can't expect all those trash metal bands to be the best of 2008.I mean people should be given chances to at least be respected to their standards.I think that Metallica's won too many nominees during their older days.Even if you (Symphony.....)warn people not to reply to your message,I don't care.A7X is a metal band and they are a rising band.They deserve to be one of the best bands this year.
About the worst bands,I didn't expect Metallica to be one of them.Shame on those who voted them as worst bands of the year.

Firstly, that list sucks, bad. Mainly the best list. Then again usually lists like this suck.

How did fallout boy sell out? They've always made pop music.

I've only listened up to Infinity on high. Personally i think their pretty good, and to me it's all pop music. I doubt their new album is radically different. Even if it is, just because they choose to go in a different direction doesn't mean their "selling out". Most musicians want to progress as opposed to making the same shit over and over again. Unless their AC/DC.

Selling out is when a band blatantly changes their style of music to cater to the masses. Also, I think the term is really stupid and is reserved for stupid 14 year old kids who think all mainstream music sucks, not aiming this at you, but yea.

IMO, i don't think a7x suck. they could come up with so many types of different song from metalcore to hard rock.. that's talent isn't it? at least.

A band that people think is metal should listen to Black and Death Metal to have a taste about what metal really is. A7X was never a metal band to begin with...

Disturbed is rubbish... Another bunch of metal wannabes but apparently, failed to make the cut...
