The Bass Picture Gallery

No lah not 4 k, but must prep about 3k for the bass and some more for shipping and GST.

But the newer 4003 rickies have a very cool function, a push pull tab that can switch from vintage voicings to modern voicings.

3NotesABar has sold many good basses before. TidesOfBlood is that the warwick streamer that the let go at a steal? I nearly got it myself!!! Good job

ah yeah i still remember the exact words of that ad. "letting go at retarded price". ok maybe i'm not sure about the price part, might've been "retarded deal/price/sale", but the word retarded was definitely there.

it's my very first bass, and he talked me into buying it instead of another Japanese Fender Jazz which i was eyeing only because it looked nice.

no regrets, the Streamer is very simple and effective to use. not too many knobs, and i slowly found out that i'm the kind of guy who doesn't need a tone knob, ala Mark Hoppus.

but yeah. beautiful bass, beautiful price.. and depending on how you see it, beautiful Kevin.

Streamers are very very decent work horses... Probably one of the most overlooked basses around!

i second that. i had the chance to use a couple of other basses along the way, specifically a Squier Affinity Precision, an Ibanez GSR200, a Yamaha TRB1004 and BB615, can't beat the fat brass frets (:

the simplicity goes a long way. eh but.. any idea what was the actual list price for it?

Streamers cost between 1.6k to anything like 3 plus brand new depending on your specs... again, I say that you had a ridiculous deal. =)

retarded price indeed ;p

i still remember the day of the deal. i didn't even bother testing out the sound. it felt like the bass had been waiting for me to play it.

The Lefay is really nice - how much did you get that one for? What's the finish called?
Is it just black stained, oil finished ash?

I got for 3plus off Talkbass. Was very lucky as someone was just letting it go and it came like new.

Ash body, oil rubbed finish. Paduak Neck.

Good to see that you're still enjoying your bass, I haven't even played mine in a while now... damn.
