The Bass Picture Gallery

Oh don't worry, he's gotten over that bit already :D

hahah, don't remind me... its a small little ding. Knocked my teeth into it while taking it off, but its barely noticeable. Its meant to be a tool anyway, of course, it doesnt hurt to have a good looking one! =Þ

hey itzs!

that's one heck of a bass you've got there! glad to know that someone is enjoying nordies! hurhurhur ... i'll be cranky to get one if i have the cash in the future ... for now ... all my cash is going toward my home studio setup ...

do post sound clips!! pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease ... thankyouverymuch ... !

Nice nordy, i was thinking about one but ain't a Jazz bass man.

Anyways, its been a while since i posted any of my new acquisitions. This one is more for the elrick fans I spoke with much much earlier in this thread, i finally made the plunge too after finally seeing something I am totally for.

This arrived less than a week ago. Real pics will be up once i stop playing with it and get my camera out.

Thanks! I dun have the tools for recording clips right now, and the bass still needs a bit of work on the setup cos of singapore's weather. But here's a link to sound clips recorded with a nordy with the exact same specs as mine(or more of i copied his specs... =Þ...)

picture of my relatively inferior bass. its a fender aerodyne jazz... with a new pickguard! i am so pleased that i swear it even sounds better. now there is nothing left to zhng... except maybe GOLD hardware

oh ya first pic with the string saver saddles. and the tusq nut (as if u can see the diff)

wasn't a perfect fit though, even though the screw holes line up perfectly the edge near the pots didnt. had to sand it down a little. the curved top of the aerodyne causes alot of problems

string savers were a very good upgrade to the stock saddles, which i didn't like at all. noticeable improvement in sustain. but maybe you can try the tusq saddles instead, i found that the tusq nut caused a more noticeable improvement in tone
