strings rust really fast

I try many brands, for me is Ernie Ball bestest best.

+10000 i feel like ernie balls are seriously underrated. they do die pretty fast under heavy use, but i've had the hybrid and regular sets on my guitars for over 2 months (don't ask) before without breakage or ridiculous amounts of rust. i've gone through ghs, d'addario, dr, and elixir phases, but i've always found myself coming back to ernie balls, they just sound better to me and i've never had problems with reliability.

fast fret definitely helps string life, as does wiping down strings after use.

since on a thread on sweaty palms and strings life n stuff ...

i recently got a Fast Fret .... i use it everyday, and after a week ... the thing goes dry and brown ... i have to rub it over the strings many time to "induce" the "liquid" to get on the strings ...

so at this point ... do i hv to change to new fast fret or izit still ok ? and can someone recommend anything/something better or equal to Fast Fret ?

i heard it can last a long time leh ... !!!

one ting i don like but also don mind abt the Fast Fret is dat everytime i rub it on my strings ... the cotton comes out abit!

Thanx in advance!
Cheers!

u either need this
or just clean your strings always with a dry cloth after use :D
and if you jam often ...change your strings often :D

endorsement huh? haha!!

well i use Electro-Harmonix...and i think it sucks...it rusts easily...but doesnt break...it does after a very long time though...but the shine wears off really fast...

tried Yamaha Strings..and it wears out faster...damn...

GHS IS the way to go...but for now EH is my strings :P
