Take out your strings from guitar and boil it. its not a joke. that is what i do. after boiling for 15 mins, you'll see all dirt come out of your strings. try it.

Try the titanium ones, I was using the EB regular slinkies and faced the same problem as you and I would have to replace them within 2 weeks. After I put on the titanium ones, the strings can last me abt a month to 2 if I seldom play them. All I had to do was to wipe down after I'm done and they'll stay in good cond, plus, they won't lose the tone even after a few weeks. Seems to sound a little better than the normal slinkies.

use dean markley's Jimi Hendrix NPS. honestly it rocks hardcore shit. super long lasting, super smooth tone and sound. very comfortable. can be bought from davis guitars at peninsular for 8.20. strongly recommended
