String for Strats

Hi guys,

What's the best string to use on a fender stratocaster? Currently, i used the bullets but it tends to get rusty easily and don't stay in tune after using the wham bar. Pleae advise, thanks.

string brand contribues marginally to tuning stability. after you whammy, especially if your guitar is equipped with a non-locking mechanism, the fault lies in the bridge/ nut area.

I like the Ernie ball, nice twang but also rust v fast. Been using EHX strings lately, n they rock man... Gd tone, great feel, n dont rust fast.

So far i think Rotopinks last the longest on me. Try them. Ernieball shiok but rust damn fast.

Currently using GHS boomers. not bad too.
I just dun like daddario XL cuz it rust so fast and its so tight.

is it true that the heavier the string the better it sound. ?
