hmmm for me.....i would just need a strap that wont come off easily and able to reach the length that i want.

i'm using a $8 brandless normal nylon strap and i find it good.
it can go very very low until my knees. and it's tight. definately wont come off.

just don't remove your strap in and out in and out all the time and i guarantee it will be tough without straplocks

haha.. denim straps would be so cool.. but yeah.. just cut a 10 cm wide strip of an old pair of jeans
fold in half then sew it up
and cut the thing for the strap buttons...

LOL that day I went to music plaza as Plaza sing.. that clear fernandes strap is damn gay lah.. (just like shredcow said) btu i did see one unbranded velvet top-surface + nylon-backing strap that seemed to go very low.. and it retailed for like 35 bucks.. do you guys think that is a fair price? lol I might add that I have 10% discount because I'm a member.

my take is once a musician proved his skills onstage, everything about him/her is cool, regardless of the position of the strap.

one can look like the coolest and most goodlooking band member but nothing can cover how sucky you are if you can't play.

Hmm.

I agree.. and well don't take me wrong that the strap bit is only for me to look cool or whatever, but it's more like I have the intention to improve my skills and lower the strap accordingly over time, so that I can achieve the neccessary skills and yet retain a certain look that I want to acquire.
