Debate: Left vs right hand techniques ....
use a right handed kit, but play with an open-handed style. meaning your left hand leading on the hi hats. that way you don't have to cross hands and can play fill-ins with your left hand keeping time.
plus if you're ambidextrous then probably both your feet are equally capable too. which translates to double pedals.
. but basically everything can be conditioned and trained. so yea...just a slight advantage but you still need to practice a lot.
