Singapore Government's move to ban porn sites is FAIL! It's only going to reduce people to seek out alternative ways of satisfying their biological desires, like perhaps patronising prostitutes, pre-marital sex, under-age sex or even rape. ..

Banning of Porn Sites = Moral Decay in the Lion City due to oppression! DUMB MOVE!!!
 
A move like this could go both ways. It can cause people to look for "alternatives" to satisfy their lustful desires, or it would be able to reduce such things from happening.

But exactly how are they going to do that? My army mates know quite a few of such sites by heart, and there are thousands and thousands of them out there. If you ban one site, another will pop out sooner or later
 
actually i read that the pornsites they banned, e.g http://www.XXXSOFTFORUM.com is more stupid in a sense that if you keyed in http://XXXSOFTFORUM.com without the www. you can still access it...

besides it's funny how they banned the "popular sites" but they didn't do anything about the ones that distribute the local ones. personally a wiser choice to fight against pornography for underaged teenagers is distribute a copy of netnanny software along with the ISP subscription or something. but then again I've seen pornographic-like material on general sites like youtube and facebook... resistance is futile.
 
there's some real sick shit out there in the net ... the exremely sicko sites involving child porn, rape, etc should be banned

 
everytime a teenager jerks off to porn , take that amount of sperms in the seminal fluid divide by 1 million , -50 top50 pornsites by singtel and starhub, divide it by 2 again. that's the amount of new pornsites popping up per ejaculation.
 
Porn sites are like cockroaches. You kill one, but many more will resurface. China's futile attempt to ban porn sites is already an example. Our dumb ass government ought to have better things to do.
 
You're all wrong. The Government's move to ban foreign porn is actually a move to allow local talents room to grow, breathe and foster. With less competition from foreign porn stars, the local porn scene will have the chance to stand in the limelight. After all, we all know that there's no lack of talent in SG. Our homegrown porn star Tammy managed to make it to top of Technorati with nothing more than a handphone you know?

So now the Government is finally putting their weight behind local porn stars. Good move I say. After all, SUPPORT LOCAL!

When it comes to foreign "talents", I thought our government always smooch their backsides.

Anyway...yeah, support local talent. Bring home Annabel...Singapore's pioneer and forgotten daughter. :D
 
banning is typical it was always banned like 10 yrs ago and now they want to re-banned it again?

the solution will be in educating the youth not banning everything on sight.
