Hmm... I dunno. Somehow I feel that keyboards and racks are just part of the whole studio set up. I am keen to see the studio as a WHOLE: mics, mixers, speakers, audio interface, instruments like guitar bass and drums (if any), acoustic foam placements, the very desk that your equipment sits (cos I need furnishing ideas, lol).

Also, the Keyboard & Rack thread's lacking pics... :?

Maybe. But I think Fibredrive's set up is pretty all rounded enough. Yeah, a few guitars and stack at one corner but I am also seeing a keyboard, a digital drumset and some other periphelias of a home studio. (GAS!)

I also like the way he lays out everything. I think that's another benefit from this thread: how to keep these things tidy.

thanks man! you are right, not much of a keyboardist. the keys are actually for my wife. i hardly use them. i can't play!!

thanks dude. took a bit of convincing the wife really. we had to move 2 bookshelves out of the room to accomodate the drums. heh. i am blessed to have a very understanding wife. keke.

honestly, after we got married, and bought the flat, i had already planned one room for the studio. its been 2 years since and the studio's finally shaping up. so, really thankful for that. alrighty, enuff of me, lets see the rest!! keep em' comin folks!

this is my current layout but gonna change back to my previous one soon. felt that there's more space in the old one.

This the same korg sp250 as fibredrive?

and fibredrive's really quite an inspiration.

hey bro, spot on! SP250! my wife wanted the weighted keys so we got that. plus the sounds actually rocks! my bro commented that the piano sounds are better than his trinity!
