I usually use the small Laney SS amp since my 4x12 does get a bit loud for pedal test or fun jam and it takes the 7 pretty good aye.

yeah sure it does.. but no $$!!!
i tried the moonphase into the 7th already, somehow, i prefer phaser AFTER distortions.. i just didnt really like the way it swirled into all that gain..
mr bukka, i saw your script phase 90! what's your take on it!?

The Vox is pretty affordable imo ...just abt $300 ... check with CMusic or just get it online.

yeah gas... but i gotta stop a while, been spending too much seriously. i think citymusic's stocking up the ac4tv again in september, plenty of time to save.
the night train is pure gas man!
 
Geez keith, u saw it before i did!! BLASPHEMY!!! hahaha....U know what, i havent give it a real go yet lol.....but i tested it briefly at goose's den, both before and after my gain pedals.....hmmmm.....i find the swirl too much after my gain pedals, didnt really dig that although i previously used my PH3 in that position.....so i spent last nite rewiring everything, so i will give the new setup a go tonite, and of course post a review and a latest pedalboard pic soon haha cheers!
 
Haha thanx goose but damn ur redition of the timmy is sick as well......hmmmm but then again i guess i will consult u abt a fuzz soon.....kinda sick of going through so many of them and not finding the right one, what the heck i guess i just have to design one myself lol!
 
mr bukka: i'd rather set my swirl to subtle, and put it after drives than very lush and before the drives... i feel it sounds clearer that way. thats why i needed a phaser with a level/intensity control. will update the pedalboard thread again when my wah's back!
 
Btw goose, i am gasing for a vox AC4TV combo as well haha......something that i can bring for small jam sessions.......i tried lugging my AC15 BUT DAMN IT IS HEAVY!!
 
+1, the AC4TV's been pricking my interest too.

I was looking to buy that AC15 with the attentuator on sale awhile ago, but decided against it. too stinking heavy! Its almost half my weight.
 
The AC4TV takes the 7th heaven really well....ALMOST too well for an amp in that size and price range. It makes the AC4 rock like an Orange or H & K amp at bedroom friendly levels. :)

Sorry I've gotta mention this but some suckers i know who own bigger amps suck ass when it comes to taking gain pedals.
