Sucks to be you. But anyway when you go to poly you will prolly wear berms to school everyday. okay maybe not. only i do.

why are school that bothered about ankle socks? Get the school to imposed ankle socks with their school logo or acronyms like we do before. :)

I guess now the trend is short pants and shoes too. So wear the pants shorts and wear a super branded white shoes. :P

that is a complete disaster man! hahah. imagine mistaking an upper sec kid to be lower sec! (for those short ppl like me :P) hahha

Dam schools always overexerting their authority over students for no good reason...

Get a whole bunch of your friends to go pantless on the first day!

Heh... They're just afraid their image will be affected. I once told my ex-DM (cuz now I'm in poly) that even if I had slightly long hair, its my problem because people look at me like thats me not the school, and my objective here is to study, and my hair doesn't affect my studies... I was just turned down, nothing more :S

The socks ruling is rubbish. They might as well make FULL SCH UNIFORM, sch socks, sch shoes, sch specs, sch underwear maybe school watch too else too fancy colours = confisicate... :)

Lets face it, they want more face than academics. My school used to send students home if they're in improper attire or dyed hair. Sometimes get them to change and come back to school to report, which i.e. miss lessons. Its more of your looks than your academics, not completely true but yeh.

Schools are always worried about their 'school image'.

I looked like a total beng when I was in secondary school but my DM was nice to me because I was well-behaved and a good student, even if I didn't look like it!

But I felt so proud to be wearing long pants... Makes me feel older and more grown-up.

hahaha this is funny. i can imagine all those tall indian fellas with hairy legs and shorts. damn... no offence though, im indian so yeah. lucky im not in sec skool already
