Well, I didn't wait that long for my Omen Extreme...but I had to wait eventually cos I just bought a guitar in Dec, and buying another guitar soon after will make my mum scream - eventhough I'll be paying the guitar myself. -_-"

Maybe you wanna keep it in the bag and not let it expose to air as to avoid rusting. Or keep it in a hardcase. Or hmm, I dunno dude. Just treat 'her' as your girlfriend.
AND, better get the Hellraiser fast. You wouldn't want me to steal it cos I've been eyeing on it!!!

i have a schecter too!
mine's the schecter omen-6 extreme diamond series,
with dual humbuckers.
very neat.
bought it at guitar 77 2 years back,
very good deal, 499 plus amp,
im sure quite a few of ya'll remember that.
i was close to selling him to get an epiphone sg,
but decided otherwise.

Ok... Peeps out there... I have a problem currently... Which is whether i should get a schecter FR or none FR (which currently for me means the hellraiser avenger)
I've always been a Floyd rose fan... but then i thought of getting a string through body cos it's easier to set up... and the avenger shape is... OMG... plus great sustain... only thing no dive bombs... But what do you guys think of C-1 FR? I can't set up a floyd but i love divebombing... so I'm troubled... hahas

Well, stores on ebay have it for 900USD. Those stores can ship to Singapore for 100USD. Add 7% GST. That's it.
The C-8 is actually a mid-range priced guitar so I don't expect Suhr quality from it - there are some... finishing problems - some parts of the binding on the body is a little crooked, the graphtech nut isn't seated properly and its a little too narrow so some messy paint is seen, the hardware (other than the EMGs & hipshot) is pretty cheap feeling/looking, neck inlays use quite a bit of filler, the fretboard either has dye on it or its extremely dirty and its extremely dry, frets were levelled wayyyy too much, etc etc
The Ibanez RG2228 is quite clearly 2 steps higher in terms of finish quality... but I'm nit-picking.
However, the thing plays EXTREMELY well. No buzz. Low action. Sounds very good... loud, resonant acoustically.

Hey guys, any idea what strings come with Schecter guitars? Apparently Elixir lists Schecter as one of the companies that ships with their strings. Any idea if it is Elixir though? I'm lovin' the strings on my Schecter, better than Ernieballs in my opinion.

Girlpants: My C-1 Classic comes coil-split features too, but wired to the 5-way switches. Either that or push-pull pot like yours, the end results are the same. You get both the sounds of the humbuckers and single coils. If you don't like it, just ignore and leave it push down all the time. I'm sure you'll find it useful one day.
