O... yeah.... Bt do you guys think it's wise to route the Omen 6 Extreme if I were to put EMGs in them?? As I'm still unsure though... Since I heard the C-1 are so much mre pricey thn the Omen 6 Extreme... Yeah, and do they have the 2009 models in Singapore?? Thnks fr ur guys help

Okay guys! Finally got the Omen Extreme. I was looking for the Floyd Rose version but they don't have it in stock. I was also looking for the Black Cherry finish one, no luck.
Still, I got the the Omen Extreme in Amber finish. Very handsome. I got it for $399, which I was pretty surprised cos I was told it was $499 over the phone.
Here's my new boyfriend. Name's Hector.
Okay lame.
I love.
But my eyes won't stop looking at the Hellraiser.
So Hellraiser's next!!!

Joke aside, that's one handsome toy boy you have there. Me loike the grains on the neck & the sexy amber finishing. For 399, that's a total BANG!
Having a new guitar is exactly like having a new boy/girlfriend. You should spend more time with him instead. Get to know him better, study his character, play & sleep with him. Try to find his weakness(es), if any. If you can tolerate his behaviour, then just accept him as he is. Later, when you grow to be more demanding and getting bored with his action, then only you should consider changing his wardrobes & what nots.....
The induction period should take at least 1 month of solid-caressing. Along this period, you'll realize that he's not to be blamed for everything. The fault is not entirely his doings....
Don't bother about changing the p/u, yet. Now, mind telling us your current setup i.e. amps/pedals etc? Do you play strictly metal? Any reference band?
Anyway, now it's official. Welcome to la Schecter familia! After all the logo drawings, sketches & graffitis that you've made, nobody is more excited than you for getting your wishes come true. I'm sure you are on cloud nine now. Congrats!!!

He plays his fender more often so the hellraiser is kept in the case for most of its life. anyway i got some keen peeps alr so thanks for the response!!

Ikan: Schecter Guitar Master! Me and Hector are getting along pretty well. My drumset looks jealous now, kept banging my foot at the stand 3 times yesterday. O_O'
The only thing about this guitar that I don't quite fancy is the push/pull pot switch. When pushed, the guitar's pickups are at normal settings. When pulled however, it sounds very twangy/trebley... no nice....
But anyway, I like it overall.
My current amp really depends on which of my friend's house I'm jamming at. So it's either Yamaha, Laney, Marshall or Peavey. Pedal wise, I've said it before and will say it again, my guitar knowledge is F9, so I know nothing much about pedals. All I know is plug plug play play.
My drums theory knowledge is better than the guitars, sadly.

The bands I jam most to are bands like Alesana, BFMV (not easy! can die), SOTY, Flyleaf and the likes. Not those metal metal but I just like the "zhengness" of Schecters.

ARRR!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT!!! YOU BOUGHT THE LAST OMEN EXTREME!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANTED TO BUY IT ON SAT!!! NO!!!!!!!! DAMN... NOW MY DREAM OF HAVING A SCHECTER IS SHATTERED!!! *Looks at my chest* UM not really... NVM shall save up money first to buy a shecter in the shop... =)

Hey GIRLPANTS!!! How long you waited for your schecter? I need to wait til june... My mother said as i just started learning guitar, I can't buy high end 1... And the cheapest 2 schecter is C-1 FR $950 and C-1 Exotic $900+... So my mother say i practice and learn a bit more til june she get me the above 1k ones... But i scared cannot take care sia even i love the hellraiser avenger... HAIX... I love the floyd c-1 too... but hard to set up.. WHY MUST YOU BUY THE OMEN!!!!!!! ARR!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL... So guys any tips on taking care of guitars? If i can take care 1... WAHAHAHA... HELLRAISER BABY!!! COME TO PAPA!!! lol (i'd rather be the boyfriend of the hellraiser)
