Well, I think I can officially join this thread with my Schecter Hellraiser FR.
Also, reviving this thread.
Also, reviving this thread.
I'd post pictures but Brendon has already taken much better pics on his site already
Also, I'm curious as to why your friend is selling his hellraiser? Is there any particular reason he doesn't like it? I love mine, it plays like a dream although I'm just getting used to playing on these 10's having played 9's all the while.

this is urs ?
btw how come it's crafted in china now ?
they moved their plants to china?
Yeah it is. I heard they shifted production from South Korea to China now. Not sure if this will affect the quality of the guitars though. Mine seems fine, been abusing the whammy bar all the time and it still stays in tune.
Hey, we have some discussion about the Indonesian Schecters somewhere in this thread (i think). Yes they are cheaper, but are they copies, I do not know.
Why get them in Indonesia when you can get them here in Singapore?? LOL.
ANYWAY, the Schecter Omen Extreme is $399 at Guitar77. You can call them to ask.
Oh... I see... thnks fr clearing tad up... bt i'm jus curious... which shuld i get if i wanna play metal; but I'm kinda of a tight budget?? Shuld I get the Omen 6 Extreme and jus swap the pickups to EMGs or shuld I buy th C-1??? BTW hw much is the C-1?? Dam sry fr troubling u guys... Thnks
Get the Omen Extreme and change the bridge p/u to SD Invader. To optimize the signal flow, make sure you disable the tone knob (unwire) on the guitar. After all, I think metal heads don't really use the tone knob. More often than not, they'll leave the tone knob fully blast all the time, might as well kill it. I might be wrong though.
Anyway, my C-1 is setup as above. Couldn't be happier!

Just a word of caution though. If you play metal or heavy stuff EXCLUSIVELY and willing to sacrifice that guitar only for that (assuming you have > one guitar), then it's worth it to use SD Invader. This p/u is so-so for clean stuff (well, to my ears). If you are in a cover band or a "jack of all music, master of none", I recommend getting a more versatile bridge p/u like SD JB. A tiny lil' less growl, but still damn good. Check out some of the vids in youtube.
After all, p/u is just one of the contributing factors in getting teh maytal sound! \m/
