umm me? I don't think M83 is quite a singles kind of band. They are better when listened entirely, album.

indeed, that's how I prefer to listen to music too. but for M83, I think a lot of their tracks make for good 'singles'. I guess that's why a lot of their music ends up on mixtapes and such.

ahh, I just found their first album 'neverfigure', and have been listening to it. The production is pretty good, and though the vocals took some getting used to, I'm digging it. 'gloriousone' is really good. thanks for the recommendation!

I also found astreal's first album, but I didn't really like the vocals on that one, and it sounds dated.

i heard that randolf had a part in the production of the album.

ouijablush was recorded with the drum machine cos alwyn was in the army or something. shoegazing is dated man... but oh the nostalgia like 80's rock...

yeah I know what you mean, but it's not THAT dated. also quite a few albums hold up well till now. I can listen to loveless and still find new stuff in it. it's all about production, I guess. pardon me but who's randolf?

randolf arriola aka embryo

totally agree with the mbv statement. its the songs, production and layering especially for a genre like this.
