Err. Sorry i havent been contacting you, rather busy with things. With regards to ROS:
I agree it's the best thing to keep genres open as you mentioned. Singapore's 'culture' right now is pretty much diverse, some say undecided lol. There are many out there who appreciate more than one form of music, and can certainly live with variety. I personally started of playing metal, then rock, then pop, then dabbled in latin, some jazz, funk. fusion, prog rock etc etc. I'd stay for the entire gig to open my eyes, and save myself the travelling to various locations to catch different bands. The whole idea of it being a festival of music is appealing, and saying 'Rock On Singapore' certainly does not denote a celebration of Singaporea-bred rock bands, its really about all sorts of bands 'rocking' out in Singapore!
